its realllly infected!!!!! i guess she doesnt have health insurance? if she waits too long that might not be good! tell her to have her mom take her to the emergency room they take you if u dont have insurance and then u can pay them later or get charity care to pay it. it could be a fungus. get to the docotor as soon as possible. What she can do to try and sooth it until then is soak it in Epsom salts. u can get a big box at walgreens or wal mart.
Its a fungus and almost impossible to get rid of! I wish her luck, I have never seen anyone who has had it, get rid of it completely.
Sounds like a bacterial infection, maybe stemming from a fungal one too. Go the the chemist.
