If the yellowing was caused by nail polish and is only on the surface of the nail - and not all the way through the nail, then you could try a few different things to help whiten and brighten them.
- Buy some denture tablets. Follow the manufacturers instructions for dissolving them in water, then soak your nails in the solution for several minutes. You may need to repeat the process a few times for best results.
- Get a small, shallow bowl and squeeze the juice out of a lemon into the bowl. Soak your nails in the lemon juice for a few minutes. Wash hands well when finished soaking. Repeat as often as necessary to maintain the whiteness and brightness.
- Get a good quality nail buffer and gently buff the stains out. Buff only in one direction - up and down, not straight across and make sure you do this gently or you could damage your nails.
- If the yellowing was caused by nail polish, use a good quality basecoat prior to applying the polish. This helps to avoid staining, especially with darker shades of nail polish.
I hope this helps! My nails has grown yellow pl suggest me how to turn them white again?
You mean from painting them right? There isn't anything you can do, just wait for them to grow out. Make sure you always put a clear base coat on before the polish or your nails will stain yellow. If it's not from nail polish I would suggest a call to your dr.My nails has grown yellow pl suggest me how to turn them white again?
dude go see a doctor ive heard of that theres a pill to get rid of it if u go to the doctor soon
Adding to answers above me, do you handle chemicals (or even herbs) that may cause the discoloration?
Wear gloves to prevent that!
wash your hands and cut your nails
if you smoke, stop
you may also have an infection or fungus so just get some lamisil or something
