They're old and need replacingAcrylic Nails Turning Yellow?
i'm not sure i've never had that happen but i'm sure that thats a sign that they should be removed and left off for awhille and then replaced at a later date
You must be very careful. That could be a sign of fungus. You should get them done over. Go to the nail store and find out what you can do, they will give the best advice.
My nails do that sometimes. It's because water gets underneath the acrylic. I'm bad about washing dishes or something and water getting under them. Try to wear gloves whenever you're working with water and if you're taking a shower or a bath, buy some bath gloves. They are like terry-cloth gloves. Also, try to get a new set put on every 4 months is possible and go for a fill-in every 2 weeks. Hope I helped!
They turn yellow when exposed to the sun too much. SOMETIMES it works using nail polish remover and just wiping it over (if there's nothing painted on it, that is.)..
Tanning in a tanning bed can cause them to turn yellow. If you use the tanning bed tell your nail tech and they can use a special product to prevent this. I have also heard that lemon juice will remove the yellow.
